Eh heh...hi.

Hey, guys...
Well, you'll be glad to know we're not dead... At least, I'm pretty sure we're not dead. Some of us are almost dead, and I think some of us wish we were dead, but none of us are actually dead. So, here's a quick post to reassure you. I got this awesome thing from my friend Kiera:)

So, here's Serenity's life story:
My parents are Ella and Kit. I grew up in Ponyville and Peter Pan was my childhood friend. I grew up and married Nicholas Nickleby. We lived happily for seven years and had one child during that time. One day, my spouse disappeared! A ransom note reading "what?" was left by the dastardly villain, Peeta Mellark! I set out on a quest to find my spouse. My weapon of choice was a Kleenex box and the only clue I had that led me to the villain's hideout was two green Legos stacked. Christine Popp was my ally. After 27 days of searching, we finally found the hideout. It was located at Stillwater Evangelical Free Church! I found my husband trapped in the villain's dungeon and freed him the help of four cans of Arizona Sweet Tea. But then, the villain found us! After a long battle, we defeated the villain and went home and have lived happily ever after! Yay!

Okay, some of you may have guessed that's not my legit life story. Hey! That will be Serenity's life story, not the legit me! Okay, now I know some more about Serenity...which is weird cause that's me. Oh well. Anywho, the awesome thing I got from my friend Kiera was this list:

1. The last couple you saw kiss in a movie/TV show are your parents
2. The setting of the last movie you saw is where you grow up.
3. First fictional character you think of (think of one before reading further) is your childhood friend.
4. You grow up. The main character (or main alley) in the book you are currently reading is your spouse.
5. You live happily together for [the number of tabs open on your computer] amount of years.
6. The last digit of your phone number is how many kids you have.
7. One day your spouse disappears. The last text message/last line of email you sent is a ransom note that was sent to you by...
8. The dastardly villain! The last fictional character you cried over (or if you don't cry while reading/watching things, got close to crying over/made you really sad).
9. You set out on a quest to find them. The object nearest on your left side is your weapon of choice.
10. The object nearest your right is the only clue you have that will lead you to the villain's hideout.
11. Look over at the left of your gmail. The last person you chatted with (person on top of contacts) is your ally.
12. After [day of your birthday (ex. the 1st, 5th, etc.)] days of searching, you finally find the hideout.
13. It's located... [the last place you went other than your house]
14. You find your spouse trapped in the villain's dungeon. You free him/her with the help of a [last item you bought]
15. Uh-oh! The villain found you! If the second to last digit of your phone number is an odd number: after a long battle, you defeat the villain and go home and live happily ever after! Yay!

If the second to last digit of your phone number is an even number: After a long battle, the villain defeats you and you all die and no one lives happily ever after. Sad.

You should try it and comment if anything especially interested happened in your life:) One time when I did this, Peeta was my spouse...as well as the villain who kidnapped my spouse. O.o

Well, hopefully you are now convinced that we are not dead. Or at least, I'm not dead.

Pray reallyreallyreally hard and you might get another blog post this month! XP

May StarClan guide your path, and may the Namers protect you from the Ecthroi, and may Aslan melt away all your fears, and may your nose never grow to be as long as the Tower of Lebenon, and may the odds be ever in your favour! Namarie!

Help wanted

Hey, guys! Or, gal. Because we only have one follower right now. XP Anywho, any of you Google+ people, you can comment on this, too. I'm looking for help on an upcoming post, a list of my top five OTP's. Urban dictionary defines an OTP as "One True Pairing. Meaning your favorite combination of characters in a fandom." So, please comment with YOUR favorite OTP's, to give me more ideas for an upcoming post. Thanks!

Tranquility's First Post...I'm so excited!

Okay, people, I am so excited to post my first thingy. But the problem is, there are too few choices! So please, post below to give any genius post ideas. Here are a few ideas of mine. If you like them, let me know and I'll be sure to carry them out.
  • Modest Fashion Ideas. I will provide you with tips on dressing in a way that respects the guys around us--and are pretty classy.
  • Amazing Gluten-Free, Naturally sweetened, Super-Dupper-Easy Recipes. I am, like, an expert on the art of making air, coconut oil, honey, and leaves (don't ask me) taste delicious.
  • Random (sort of stupid) Things We Do. This doesn't mean jumping off a loft bed at a sleepover as you lip-sing to a 1D song...more along the lines of dressing up and calling ourselves names like "Butterfart", "Pickled Hips", and "Mushybroom".
  • Cool photos and Paintings done us. We very well could surprise you.
  • Then of course there are book and movie suggestions, 5 Things Every Guy Should Know About Girls, and stories about us.
And other than that, we'll be updating you on stuff that happens in our lives. Such as this following update of mine:
So, recently, I've been super distracted. I am trying to do High School in two years (if you're surprised, you must not know any homeschoolers), but some things have been catching my attention more easily than French and Math. Such as, writing, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Blimey Cow, Studio C, and Him. (Minor-key music)
Yup, there's someone in my life i just can't get my mind off of. And to add to the trouble, everyone knows about it and is encouraging me..."Wow, this is making me so happy, I can't believe it." but somewhere I know this isn't gonna last and one day he comes up to me and sort of drops a hint that our little thing is over. Now, I'm crushed. I realize that my happiness depended on that special someone.
In this example I've learned that certain fleshly pleasures are only temporary and that certainly includes guys/girls. If you have a Him, that's great! Go you, you're a normal human being! But if his attention and approval and his presence in your life begin to be essential to your happiness, I suggest backing off a step or two. JESUS IS WATCHING YOU! Slow down and remember you can stand on your own two feet. HE'S WITH YOU!
Okay, so yeah, there's my story. And, yes, I do have a him. But thankfully, I've learned to take away the caps and italics and just enjoy him in a non-idolizing way...or at least I'm trying! So, Leave Room For Jesus!
May Aslan Melt Away All Your Fears,
Tranquility

Postscript to my fellow mashters: Heh, got you this time, 'cause i am so ecstatic about this first post that i could just go and punch someone face and fly to the moon and back and...and...tell Sam that I love him so much i could kill him with a pointy thingy! AHHHHH! (For Readers: Sam is...yeah never mind. But i had a dream that he stabbed me with a bayonet and the only reason I survived was because the Holy Spirit came upon me and i was healed! YAY!) Okay, guys...now that I've calmed down, I'm not actually gonna tell Sam i love him (that would probably be stupid because he might propose) or stab him with a bayonet. That would be a dream come true...in the worst way. Okay, I'm choking up...

Serenity's first post

     Hola, people!

Today, I will be giving you a little more info about me, but nothing super personal, so don't get all excited. I won't be revealing the name of the guy I like (only that his younger brothers first name starts with an M) nor will I be telling you my life story -thus far a pretty boring one.

Okay, first off, I've been homeschooled all my life (darn dictionary's trying to tell me "homeschooled" isn't a word. It is, trust me, I'm the Doctor. Er, I mean I'm homeschooled) and believe me, homeschooling (oh, sure, "homeschoolING"is a word, but not "homeschoolED"XP) homeschooling is DA BOMB. Nuff said on that.

I am a part of many weekly activities including ESCHEL, a homeschool (it is too a word, dumb dictionary) co-op, Teens For Christ (TFC) Bible Club, Worship Dance, 12:2 Youth Group, Junior Swim Team, and Bible Quizzing. These are all awesome organization group activity thingies :D and if you live in the Stillwater/St. Paul area you should check them out!

I have two parents, four sisters, one brother (yes, Jonathan is the only boy. He's also the youngest and enjoys dress up, the color pink, and wanted to be a fairy princess for Halloween), two cats (Molly and Tiggy. Tiggy's adorable and Molly's fat) and a dog (Julie. She's the sweetest puppy ever and I like her a lot, but she's still a dog...)

Here's a little baby paragraph about the guy I like. I don't know his middle name. He's got brown hair. The shirt he was wearing last time I saw him was green and was a shirt from a certain camp. He goes to SCPA. And that's all you're gonna know about him (unless you already know who he is, in which case you know all the above stuff already and more) until I decide to tell you more (which could be my next post, next year, whenever I stop liking him, or never.)

I LLLOOOVVVEEE just words in general. I love reading and writing. They are like my life (along with school, chores, eating, friends, Bible Quizzing, and attempting to keep my room semi-clean.) I love writing poems, stories, reports, essays, research papers, reviews, letters, random paragraphs, and lists. Yup. I am really in to writing lists. Like to-do lists. I'll have like 10 things on my list and I'm like, "Okay, I'm gonna breeze through my schoolwork and chores today so I can focus on the upcoming party." *determined nod* Then I get on the computer (hey, people!) to do my math and end up typing up a whole blog post.

Sad, right? Oh, well, one of these days I'll have enough self-control to keep my mouse pointer thing away from the Google Chrome icon until after my math. I actually once (it didn't work, btw) tried to reward myself when I was trying to type up a five paragraph essay. I was having a hard time getting my words down (mostly cause I kept pausing to watch Studio C...) and decided that I could watch a video every five sentences I write. It worked...once. I typed up five sentences (barely) and watched my video...and it kind of fell apart after that:P So, I decided I should probably (Hey, guys, is it just me, or do I interrupt myself a lot?) come up with a new reward system. Oh, well:P

I also love reading, as I mentioned before. My favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and my favorite author is...Jane Austen, I guess:) I especially love Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion. I also love Charles Dickens, especially Great Expectations (it's my favorite Charles Dickens book as well as one of my top ten books.) (I'm reading Nicholas Nickleby right now.) I also enjoy J.R.R.Tolkien (especially Return of the King[ROTK]), L.M.Montgomery (especially Anne of Green Gables and the whole Anne series:D), C.S.Lewis (sorry, I've got a thing for initials, or something) especially The Horse and His Boy, and Lemony Snicket (outsider...) especially...well, the Series of Unfortunate Events, seeing as how that's the only thing he's written...

I am an ardent music lover. I play the piano and I sing. I sing to myself constantly! I especially love listening to Country music, singing Christian contemporary, and playing Classical (what's with all the "C" music genre thingies? Weird)

Okay, sorry this is getting really long, so I'll go now.

May StarClan guide your paths, and thanks for reading! God bless!

First Post and a Short Introduction

Dear Hopefully Faithful Readers, (hopefully, because I hope you will continue faithful)
Welcome to M.A.S.H.T. blog! M.A.S.H.T. stands for Melody, Amanda, Serenity, Harmony, and Tranquility, the names of the five girls who are running this blog:) This is Serenity, the youngest of us girls. I'm writing a short introduction about this blog, and then each of us is going to introduce ourselves.
So, a short introduction. Well, to start, let me warn you that this blog is super random. We started it super randomly (Melody, Tranquility, and I just up and thought it would be fun to have a blog, one day) and so are our names. It really all started with Melody and Harmony. They're sisters, and one day, as they were going to bed, Harmony just up and says, "Goodnight, Melody," and Melody returns with, "Goodnight, Harmony." Then they gave Tranquility her name, then there was me. I was originally Oasis, but then I thought of Serenity, and it stuck:) And...we couldn't find a word starting with A for Amanda...so for now she's just Amanda...but if you think of any words, please comment below:D
Also, our post will be very random. This blog doesn't really have a point, we just thought it would be fun. So we'll be posting everything from hair styles to writing tips to book/reviews to song lyrics to life. So, yup:)
And that's a short introduction to us- the M.A.S.H.T. girls:) And after this, each of us will do a short paragraph about herself. Since I'm already on, I'll start:

Serenity:)
I, Serenity, am a homeschooler, Christian, writer, singer, actor, reader, Bible Quizzer, Wholockian, Ringer, Narniac, Warrior of WindClan, and Rider of Berk. I enjoy writing, singing, acting, Bible Quizzing, and reading. My favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and my favorite movie is The Princess Bride starring Cary Elwes and Robin Wright. I'm excited for Thanksgiving, my birthday, and Christmas!!! I think Carl Rosamilia is really cute<3 and Sierra Boggess is gorgeous!!! I'm also part of a group called Apples on a Birch Tree and all five of us girls are a part of it. (love y'all, all y'allXD) Also, the Big Dipper, the Retro Chicks, and No Name. At least some of us are in each of those groups.
Most important, though, I love Jesus!  He is the most important aspect of my life, and I am constantly trying to make him even more so.
So, my life in a nutshell: Reading, writing, Bible Quizzing, semi-sweet chocolate chips, music, Jane Eyre and Princess Bride, private dance parties, especially in cramped places such as the car, my awesome friends, and JESUS!!!<3
And, just cause, here's a list of my nicknames:
Serenity (dur), Iowa, Babe, Why, Cataract, Kidney Bean, Hermit, Eslie, EllyJellyBelly, EllyBJelly, Ellyboe, Carol, Mae, Beth, Jeremy, Stacie, Stephen, Ed, Dicky, Jerry, (idk why I have so many guy nicknames...:D) and the list goes on and on.
     May StarClan guide your paths!
---Serenity---
P.S.I'm trying to figure out my top 5 OTPs (One True Pair, for those who didn't know). OTPs can be from any book, movie, TV show. They're basically just a couple that you really really ship, i.e. Lizzy and Darcy, Hiccup and Astrid, Rose and Ten, etc. So please comment with YOUR OTPs so I can get some more ideas, and sometime in the future, once I get my life figured out, I'll do a post of my Top 5 OTPs. ---Serenity---

Tranquility
Hello, darlings! I am Tranquility. I am 14 and a Freshmen at YEAH academy, a home school co-op in the Twin Cities. I am a writer, artist, actress, avid reader, and Roger's and Hammerstein is life. Danny Kaye is my favourite actor, Gordon Macrae my favourite singer, and Carl Rosamilia my favouite actor. You probably don't know who any of these guys are, especially since Carl isn't even famous...so yeah, don't feel stupid. Go Hipsters! Anyway...
Going deeper, I am a Jesus freak who just can't stop talking about my awesome Saviour and I'm Canadian...a Canadian that doesn't know her own national anthem...wow, that's sad, eh? (Okay, didn't even do that on purpose, but it's a fantastic example of the right context in which to use the word "eh". Heh, actually, you probably thought it was spelled "a"!)
Oh, right, I forgot to tell you my favorite movie...s. The 1945 edition of State Fair, Oklahoma (just for the music), Carousel*,  The Court Jester, Princess Bride, How to Train Your Dragon, Funny Face, and all those cheesy Disney Channel movies other than Lemonade Mouth. :)
Okay, I know you're getting bored, so I'm going to wrap up...
My Aslan Melt Away All Your Fears,
Tranquility

Melody
Hi! I'm Melody(my blog name), as well as Carolina, Curly, Jules, Joe, Joey, Joe-Poe, Molasses, Whitney, Priggy, Mavis, Lilac, Piglet, Strawberry Shortcake, Curious George, Sherlock Homes, Tom Sawyer, Pascal, Grapes, Capybara, and Juliguerite(a combination of my first and middle name.) Those are only a few of my nicknames I have. You'll soon see the rest of them popping up here and there among posts, as well as new nicknames as well! And I don't think there's time to go in to explaining the whole reason of how I got those nicknames so I won't. :) Maybe someday, I'll put up a post on here of how I got each one of them, but just warning you, it might be as long as a cat's tail! This post, though isn't about that, so let us continue with my introduction. :D I'm a member of the Apples on a Birch Tree group, as well as the Big Dipper group! (There's seven of us. And you probably don't know what these groups are but that's okay because this blog is going to be pretty random in the first place, and these groups aren't the most important on this blog, but rather the M.A.S.H.T. group.) I'm also ever working on making God the center of my life, day by day, and can't WAIT to meet Jesus in Heaven!!! I also agree with Tranquility and Serenity about Carl Rosemilia!!! I love him! We have a mini fan club. :) I am an old-fashioned girl(I love all those old fashioned dresses, books, candles, and oil lamps!) I'm also a book obsession person .. :D, and I love the country! I have a dream to live out in the country someday, have a sheep or two, and maybe have a goat to milk everyday! I'm also a very observant person and that's why i really like to act. Some might not know this, but to be able to act, you have to be very observant. Even in the little things, I like to observe and watch and take in every detail. My most treasured hobby or art is WRITING!! I love to write stories, books, and journals. Maybe in the near future, I'll post a summary or a clipping from one of my stories! But for now, it's a goodbye! I hope you'll be faithful to M.A.S.H.T., or at least enjoy peeking in on us once in a while!
Love you, may God bless, and may the Namers protect you from the Echthroi,
Melody

Harmony
Ello Mite! (as in "hello mate" in an Australian accent but I'm not actually Australian...) My name, as you can see above, Harmony! My other names are....(please resist the urge to skip through my long list of names) Honey, Elayme, Black Bear, Mallory, Rapunzel, Apple Blossom, Pennsylvania, Bob, Boba, Bobita, Dixie, Ruby, Dragontongue (don't ask me), Dr. Watson, Winnie [the Pooh], Commander, Ripe Pear, Dove, Aurora, Ping [the Duck], Huckleberry Finn, Etta Beta (pronounced Aytta Baytta)  and Pennella. There are probably others, but I can't remember them. The most important aspect of my life is God. He is like the sun and I'm one of the eensy-weensy planets revolving around him. I LOVE to draw and to learn about how things work and how to identify different things such as how to tell what kind of weather you might be having later on based on present variables. I don't actually know how to do that well, but I think it would be cool to learn how. I also like learning in general(but not usually school stuff, mostly random stuff), singing and dancing(especially swing dancing), spending time with me amigos, just thinking, just observing, soaking in my surroundings(it's different than observing, because observing is a removal of oneself from the current happenings while soaking in is the opposite), gardening, doing the dishes, eating hamburgers, getting up early, eating (who doesn't?), and a lot of other things too! -like sleeping on our dock at our cabin and eating California rolls in the Walmart parking lot with my awesome sister. I'm part of apples on a Birch tree too as well as the two others Serenity mentioned. Anywho, I don't want this to get too long, so chow; I think I'll be leaving now (I Rhymed!)
May your nose never become as long as the tower of Lebanon,
                                                                                      Harmony
Amanda
So, Amanda was taking too long in doing this, so I'm just gonna post this and she can catch up when she's ready.

And that's a little bit about each of us, the five M.A.S.H.T. girls:) Please follow our blog!!! I want us to have at least two followers by the end of...the year...okay, people?
May StarClan guide your paths, and may the Namers protect you from the Echthroi, and may Aslan melt away all your fears, and may your nose never grow to be as long as the tower of Lebanon. Namarie! Allons-y! Geronimo!

God bless,

---Serenity and the M.A.S.H.T. girls---

P.S. If you think of any "a" adjective
thingies that end in "y" or "ie" or that general "e" sound, please comment below! Wait, what? Serenity, why are you saying that, what's the point of that? Cause we're still looking for an "a...ie/y/e" name for Amanda, duh!

P. P. S.  from Serenity: I hope you appreciate how long it took me to to change all these word to their correct colors and fonts. I did the first two M.A.S.H.T.s by hand, but then decided it would be faster to copy and paste. But I still had to change all our names to the proper color and font!
